I always would like to witness the fireworks during the New Year's Eve. It just so happened that this year I was unable to go home to the Philippines. In the Philippines, fireworks are tradition during New Year's Eve. Hence, missing one would really make a difference in what I usually experienced.
My flatmate and I were waiting for the New Year's Eve 2025 countdown on her lovely big projector. We were taking our chances to watch it. It has been announced that due to the gusty winds there might be a chance that the countdown at the London Eye would not happen. We were waiting. She was fiddling with her remote control, when something happened. She lost internet access! In just two minutes, the fireworks would begin. I was on the dining table beside the big glass window, when I saw the fireworks displayed at one minute to countdown. I told her that the fireworks had begun. I saw these fireworks live on all sides of our big window. It made me leaped for joy! To others, this was nonsense. To me, this was a miracle. God has allowed me to witness the fireworks not on the projector but LIVE! It was my first time to experience these fireworks displayed on our big glass windows since we moved here on September 2024. Miracles happen everyday!
