Dressing

I finished work at five this afternoon. I had a really busy day. I went for lunch really late. As the last patient that came to consult me was quite complex. It took me two hours in my consultation and intervention

with him. It was a chronic wound to his fingers. He presented with complex issues which obviously we had to intervene medically. I was advising him of the importance of coming in to his appointments and not canceling them. I was reiterating to him the importance of regular wound dressing to his three fingers. We discussed his case to the specialist as well. I was been warned by my colleague that he was a very difficult person and that he would not listen. I told her that he was listening and that he agreed to further treatments. Apparently, he was known to be difficult and non-compliant. Not with me, I must say, I intervened by advising him the importance of regular wound dressings, and specialist appointment which he agreed. He even allowed me to dress his chronic wounds to his affected fingers. My colleague at the clinic was surprised that she was compliant to me.

The Word of God said in Philippians 2 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose. I believed it was in His purpose for me to dress his chronic wounds and for me to intervene with his health.

Miracles of God happen everyday :)
