Shift

I woke up at five past seven this morning, I was rushing. I felt so tired when I woke up. Rushing, I felt the adrenaline was up on me. I did not want to be late for work. I left at about 55 past seven. I managed to catch the bus to work at exactly eight. I knew that I was going to be late. Hence, whilst I was on the bus, I have decided to do my daily Bible reading.

At this time, the bus was not even packed. I have even managed to put my bag beside me. Furthermore, I managed to get off the bus at 32 past eight. I still have a lot of time to go to the shop and buy my favourite barley cup. I even managed to walk twice back and forth around Tottenham Court Road deciding to buy a coat or not. I was at the clinic at 55 past eight this morning. I thought there were already staff at the clinic. Again, it was just ME! I even had the chance to make my barley cup! I was not late at all!

My morning shift at the clinic went out to be nil. As in nil patient consultations. I managed to prepare for my research papers by reading through all of them in my free time. My afternoon clinic, I had only three patient consultations. It was not as busy as it was should be. I was expecting it to be chaotic as it was the third day of the first month of the year.

I believe God has a purpose for this morning and afternoon shifts that I had. As stated in Romans 8:

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Miracles do happen everyday! :)
