Battle

I woke up early this morning with a big plan to do - to finish my research paper. I did my early morning routine, and checked my phone to see if it was fully charged. Then it all began, I was caught up with an online game!

I said to myself,  "I would just need to try what this is and then I will stop, and start what I need to do." It started at 12 past six. 30 past seven in the morning came by, I was still playing. Then, 45 past ten. I repeatedly said to myself, "it won't be long now, just this and then I'm off." Then it did not come.  I felt my eyes tired, and felt so exhausted for nothing! I realised that I had been playing for eight massive hours! Hence, I stopped at 15 past two in the afternoon. I realised that I did nothing for these eight hours!

If not for my eyes being tired and exhausted, I would not have stopped. God made me realised what I had done. If not for His intervention, I could have played for 24 hours!

This is so true with our battles in life. We cannot fight our battles alone, we need Christ. We need to be awake not asleep, sober not drunk to acknowledge His intervention. As what the Bible said in the book of Ephesians 6,"12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Truly, the miracles of God happen everyday! :)
